Why PICKLEBALL?

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America. In fact, it has been for the last 5 years in a row!

Why? Because it’s:

  • enjoyed by all age brackets
  • a fun and social way to get great exercise

Over the last few years, pickleball has really taken off in Eastern North Carolina with more people playing every day. That’s why we are excited to bring the area’s largest open pickleball tournament to Rocky Mount on June 15, 2024.

The Down East Pickleball Classic will be a day of good clean competitive fun for folks of all ages. Proceeds from this event will help fund Project Rescue (helping women coming out of sex trafficking), Convoy of Hope (disaster relief), and our local homeless shelter.
